Clinical trials carried out in psoriatic patients demonstrate an higher efficacy of Betesil compared to the BMV cream preparations.

Betesil plaster can be cut to cover exactly the affected area, with a uniform concentration of BMV on the whole lesion (0.03 mg/sqcm) and a reduced risk of excessive absorption and skin atrophy outside the treatment area.
